Synopsis

A rich Beijing man plans to marry his pregnant girlfriend from Taiwan. But which of the two traditions should the families follow? He must persuade his girlfriend’s tradition-obsessed family in order to make this marriage happen.

Before his directorial debut, Summer Times (2008), Huang had fifteen years of experience working fordocumentaries and news programs. His films include Love is Sin (2012) and Peace is Love (2014). For The Wonderful Wedding, he directed and also wrote the film.
