    When is the online ticketing period?

    A

    ¢º Opening Ceremonies / Master Class / Mega Talk: From June 24 (TUE) 14:00 until the event starts
    ¢º General / Midnight / Free Screenings: From June 26 (THU) 14:00 until each screening starts

    What payment methods are accepted on the English ticket reservation page?

    A

    Only overseas-issued cards are accepted on the English ticket reservation page.
    (Korean-issued cards cannot be used)

    The Screening I wanted to watch was sold out online. Is there anything I can do?

    A

    All seats are sold online and there are no separate on-site seats available.
    On-site sales are only available for the remaining seats not sold online.

    How can I issue the ticket I reserved?

    A

    Tickets can be issued after checking the reservation number at the on-site box office of each theater.
    Make sure to have your reservation page or email.

    Can I enter with just the booking number?

    A

    Entry with just the booking number is not permitted.
    Please log in to the BIFAN website and show your mobile ticket from your reservation page.
    Or, you can get your ticket issued at the box office for entry.
    *To prevent ticket fraud, we may ask for the booker's name at the box office.

    I lost my ticket. Is it possible to reissue it?

    A

    Tickets will not be reissued or refunded for personal circumstances
    (e.g., lost or damaged tickets, traffic delays, going to the wrong theater, misunderstanding the movie time, etc.).

    Can someone else pick up my ticket?

    A

    Yes. If you want someone else to pick up your ticket at the box office,
    give them your reservation number (via Email, or your reservation page).

    Are there any cancellation fees?

    A

    A cancellation fee is charged only on screening day.
    A fee of KRW 1,000 per ticket, will be charged per cancellation.
    *You can cancel your ticket without a fee before the screening day.
    *No cancellation fee will be charged for reservations made with ticket vouchers.

    I already cancelled my ticket, but have not yet received my refund.

    A

    It's not possible to receive an immediate refund when you cancel your ticket due to varying policies and processing times of credit card company and banks. Refunds will be processed within 3~7 days.
    If you've confirmed your cancellation under [Ticket > Ticketing] in the quick menu on the BIFAN website, please contact your credit card company or bank about the refund.

    I'd like to cancel one of the two tickets on the reservation.

    A

    Partial cancellations are allowed.

    • For online reservations, partial cancellations can be made on the [Confirm/Cancel] page.
    • If a paper ticket has been issued, partial cancellations can be made at the on-site Ticket Box up to 30 minutes before the film starts.

    When can I enter the theater?

    A

    You can enter 15 minutes before the screenings, but this may change depending on the situation on-site.

    A

    All screenings will start on time.
    Please make sure to arrive at the theater before the screening begins.

    Can I bring food and drinks?

    A

    Bucheon City Hall Main Theater/Fantastic Cube, Korea Manhwa Museum | Only bottled water with a cap is allowed.
    CGV Sopung, LOTTE CINEMA Bucheon | No outside food or alcoholic beverages allowed.

    How can I use the Strange Market?

    A

    Participating venues displaying Strange Market posters around CGV Sopung, Rodeo Street,
    BIFAN Street, Hyundai Department Store (Jung-dong Branch), Tteooreugil,
    Hillstate × Prugio, Hamkkehagil, and the Webtoon Complex Center-Bucheon offer special discounts and benefits.

    Present your 30th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival badge or a same-day ticket (including mobile tickets) to enjoy these offers.

    Where can visitors park during Carnival in July?

    A

    There is no designated parking area for Carnival in July visitors.
    Please use nearby public parking facilities.
    As large crowds are expected and traffic congestion may occur, we strongly recommend using public transportation whenever possible.

    Is the Bucheon Wejoy Chicken & Beer Festival free?

    A

    Admission to the Bucheon Wejoy Chicken & Beer Festival,
    held at the Bucheon City Hall Lawn Square, is free of charge.
    Food and beverages, including chicken and beer, must be purchased separately.
    Please note that identification may be required when purchasing alcoholic beverages.

    How can I purchase a ticket for the opening film?

    A

    Tickets for the opening film will be available from Tuesday, June 24, through the official website after logging in.

    What is included with the opening film ticket?

    A

    The opening film ticket includes a live broadcast of the Opening Ceremony.
    After the live broadcast of the Opening Ceremony at Bucheon City Hall, Main Theater, the opening film will begin at 20:30 following a 30-minute intermission.

    Will there be a closing film this year?

    A

    No, there will be no closing film this year.

    How can I cancel my opening film ticket?

    A

    You can cancel your ticket up to 30 minutes before the event starts.
    After the ticket has been issued, cancellations can only be made at the on-site ticket booth.
    Please note that a cancellation fee of KRW 1,000 per ticket applies on the day of the event.

    Can anyone watch the red carpet event?

    A

    Yes. The red carpet is open to all visitors, including those without tickets.
    However, in case of rain, it may be moved indoors to the Bucheon Arts Center for safety reasons, and public viewing may be limited.

    Yes. The red carpet will proceed in the event of rain.

    Is photography or recording allowed during the Opening Ceremony?

    Photography, video recording, and audio recording are strictly prohibited inside the venues.
    This includes all forms of filming, recording, and the use of equipment that may disturb other guests.
    The same policy applies to the red carpet event.

    The Neighborhood Cinema Tour (Chat·Dong·Young) is a community-based film program that screens diverse genres to explore the joys and sorrows of life.
    To ensure easy access, these free screenings are held at various indoor and outdoor venues across Bucheon, including art halls, libraries, plazas, and community gardens.

    Are seats assigned for Neighborhood Cinema Tour screenings?

    Seating is first-come, first-served. For outdoor screenings, mats are available for rental on-site.

    Is there a fee, and how can I cancel or transfer my reservation?

    A

    Neighborhood Cinema Tour screenings are free of charge, and advance reservations can be made by logging in to the official website.
    If you can no longer attend, please cancel your reservation through official website to allow others the chance to reserve.
    (Please note that a cancellation fee of 1,000 KRW per ticket applies on the day of the screening.)
    Ticket resale or commercial transfer is strictly prohibited and we ask that you make reservations in your own name.

    For indoor screenings, some age restrictions may apply depending on the film.
    Outdoor screenings are generally rated 12+ and are open to all age groups.

    Can I eat or drink during the screening?

    A

    Eating is allowed at outdoor screenings.
    However, open flames, cooking, and food deliveries are prohibited.
    Please dispose of trash in the designated recycling bins, and take any leftover food home with you.

    Parking is very limited, and no parking support or discounts are provided.
