Synopsis

Luc BESSON

Born in 1959, French film director Luc Besson is one of the leading figures of ‘Nouvelle Image’ of French cinema in 1980s with Jean Jaques Beineix and Leos Carax. He created the unprecedented original films of unusual scenes using flash lights and artificial images and influenced a lot on the American and Hong Kong films. His trademark of rhythmic mis-en-scene and sensual images arouse the young audiences to enthusiasm.
