Synopsis

Silver Bear Award for Outstanding Artistic Contribution at the 66th International Film Festival
Realizing that the women Gao Chun had met in different ports of Yangtze River are the same person, he searches for the woman who is now nowhere to be found. To find her, he must sail upwards where the Yangtze River begins and unveil the mystery of her and the secret of the river.

YANG Chao

Born in 1974, Yang studied filmmaking at Beijing Film Academy. His filmography includes Cannes award winning short film Run Away (1997) and Camera d’Orwinning The Trip (2002). And his latest film Crosscurrent received a Silver Bear for Outstanding Artistic Contribution for the cinematographer Mark Lee Ping-Bing.
