The Last Snow

Synopsis

Just before turning 50, Yusaku realizes that his wife has dumped him, and sees no point in living at all. As his long unheard friend calls him, Yusaku learns that Yukiko who was his and Kenichiro's love, is dying. The call pulls him into his youthful memories. Getting back to his hometown, he meets Kenichiro and Yukiko after 25 years.

Nobuhiko Ohbayashi

Born in 1938 in Japan, he started making 8mm films while he was in college. His first 16mm film MAN WHO HAS EATEN won the special Jury Prize at the 1963 Belgium Inter national Experimental Film Festival. He directed his first 35mm film HOUSE in 1977, and since then he has worked on over 25projects.Born in Hiroshimam, Japan, 1938. He learned his skills through making experiment film and CF. He has shown his talents in many different genres such as comedy, teenager movie, and SF. His film Goodbye for Tomorrow was shown in PIFAN 97.
