Memories and Recovery of Saturday Short

¡®Saturday Short¡¯ was a short film screening organized by the French Cultural Centre in Korea every Saturday for five years from 1982. It is of historical significance as it was the first domestic film festival to offer screenings, guest visits, award ceremonies and other events typical of film festivals. The retrospective is dedicated to the late Park Gun-seop, who played a pivotal role in the birth and operation of "Saturday Short" and also served as vice-chairman of the BIFAN Organizing Committee, and passed away in 2022. It will be a meaningful opportunity to feel the energy of Korean film masters through their early short films.
