Synopsis

Starring veteran actor Pete Postlewaithe and the voices of Patrick Stewart, Julia Ormond and Kelsey Grammer, Animal Farm is the newest take on George Orwell’s classic story. The domestic animals on manor Farm are tired of the oppressive ways of Mr.Jones. When it becomes intolerable, Snowball and Napoleon lead the animals in a revolt and Mr.Jones and his wife are exiled from the farm. The nw collective owners of the farm soon base their neoteric society on the credo. Life continues satisfactorily for the animals for a time. However, the very traits that originally incited them to revolt begin to appear in the revolution’s leaders. Animal Farm has clear message: Power corrupts and revolutions always devour their children.

John STEPHENSON

John has now directing for five years. He started with a number of commercials for Saatchi & Saatchi, and has since directed 2nd Unit on Pinocchio, 2nd Unit for New Line’s Lost In Space. Animal Farm is his feature debut.
