Francesco ROSI

Born in Naples, Francesco Rosi(1922–2015) was an aggressive, uncompromising social crusader, a journalist with a camera, working in the traditions of postwar Italian neorealism. Most of his films portrayed economically poor and politically corrupted Italian south regions seen through his blunt and unadorned direct eyes.
