Synopsis
Dr. MASON invents "freeze bomb" at the request of mob boss The Pig. Aware of his weapon's destructive power, he leaves the recipe to his female assistant and kills himself so that the secret will not be obtained by the villain. The Pig tracks down the assistant who has fled, with the recipe (microchip) implanted in her forehead. Now, police captain GALLAGHER (George LAZANBY) --- hello, 007! --- assigns the master martial artist Lt. Detective ASH to the case, trusting he's the only person who can stop The Pig's vicious scheme. All right, this IS the ultra low-budget B-class action film virtuoso Director Al ADAMSON's work. Any questions? Certainly the afro-perm hairdo of Jim KELLY (ASH), the #999999 Kung Fu star, is something to relish. KELLY enjoyed his short-lived fame as the '70s martial arts star, appearing in Enter The Dragon (1973), contributing to "#999999 Kung Fu boom." Marvelously consistent B-class fun, all the way from acting, screenplay, photography, to, well, everything. (Jin PARK)
