Synopsis
The 1999 OVA of "Getter Robo," one of the NAGAI Go's representative passionate super robots. This animation was produced on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the establishment of NAGAI Go's Dynamic Productions, and "Shin Getter Robo" presented in the video game "Super Robot Wars" is the main character. Unlike his previous works, the diabolic and dark tone considered the unique feature of NAGAI Go's robot animation is well expressed in this film. Among the thirteen episodes of the OVA, the one directed by IMAGAYA Yashuhiro is an outstanding work, befitting to the reputation of the master of super robot animation. (HAN Tae Sik)
