Synopsis
In the middle of an Indian cemetery, Arbie and Wendy tries to have a sex. But a horny zombie jumped into the scene and their first sex was interrupted. 1 year later, "American Chinken Bunker" was built on the site of cemetery. In that restaurant, Arbie and Wendy meet again. Arbie is hired as a staff at the restaurant and Wendy became a lesbian environmental activist. But the story is not about them. It is fried chicken possessed by ghosts. In addition, the restaurant customers become huge chicken zombies after eating fries. That is the real beginning of the film.
Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead is Lioyd KAUFMAN's latest film. He is also famous with "Troma" that has many fans in Korea. Although he is in 60s, he continues shooting 2~3 films a year. This film contains his passion and terseness. With zombies attacking military like fried chicken restaurant, KAUFMAN directly raises an environmental issue like animal abuse and criticizes American militarism. Besides, lots of guts, blood, excrements appear in this film. The director crosses the borders of musical, horror and comedy fully using his imagination. As the title shows, parody and acrimony exceed the his previous work. (Jin PARK)
