Synopsis

In 1965, Gregory K., a young labor and priest, was accidentally exposed to an exceessively high dose of radiation in an uranium extraction mine and was buried alive. In an amazing turn of events, however, nearly two decades after he was missing, a team of workers discovers Gregory in an abandoned mine building with no recollection of who and where he was. Through alternating images of black & white and color, the film portrays the protagonist's struggle to break free from amnesia so that he can retrieve his old identity. Director Manuel Gomez juxtaposes pixilation and Rembrandtesque lighting, combined with layers of sacred song, to create a series of new images representing the human condition.(Na Ho-Won)
