Synopsis
This is Jean Michel Roux's first full-length film. Roux also shows the "Voice of the Desert" and "Too Near the Gods" in this year's Puchon Festival.
UFO, message from an extraterrestrial, organ transplant, cyborg, telepathy, hynotizing, genderless man, new human, and love-making in non-gravitational space... Objects and episodes are abundant in this film. At first they may seem not related with one another but they are exquisitely harmonized to create a very special atmosphere that is independent from any other science fictions. Particularly noteworthy is the liberal imagination that underlies wily jokes and the sexual message any adult would enjoy. This is a rare low-budget SF, but once you see it you would agree with what the director says: Imagination has no limit even if the budget has limits.
P.S.: Commendable are a few well-known actors who bravely chose adventure over safety and appeared in this film. They are Tcheky Karyo from Nikita, Julie Delpy from "White" and "Before the Sunrise" and Maria de Medeiros from "Pulp Fiction."
