Synopsis

One day, Mary, the daughter of a dokkaebi hunter, stumbles upon Imae, a dokkaebi, who was trapped in a mountain and saves him. Mary runs away from her father and joins Imae in the search for the dokkaebi village. However, fear begins to seep in as she ventures through the cold, dark mountains. And the value of dokkaebi's eyeballs, which are worth hundreds of gold, continues to plague her. Detecting Mary's affliction, Imae is willing to pull out his own eyeballs for Marie.

Born in 1996, Jiho graduated from New York School of Visual Arts where she majored in film. 
The Tale of Mari and Yimae, which contains Korean mythological creatures called Dokkaebi, is the recipient of multiple awards in several international indie film festivals.
