Synopsis
Late at night in a village in Turkey, Emre and Nazli, who love each other deeply, try to find a hotel for the night, but there is nowhere for this young couple without a marriage certificate. They deceive the hotel staff and are finally together, but the resulting sweetness soon turns bitter. The Criminals portrays surprisingly and realistically the increasingly conservative social atmosphere of Turkey, through the embarrassed feelings of the troubled young couple.
