Program Note

The global gemstone market is thrown into turmoil when a famous American figure named “Melon Risk” declares, “I will cause diamonds to fall like rain from Neptune to Earth.” Korean gem dealer Kuhyuk also faces his worst day ever. This intense day unfolds rapidly, reminiscent of the proverb, “A frog dies by a stone thrown unintentionally.” The conclusion that arrives after this hardship effectively conveys the emotions experienced.
