Synopsis

In this 3D animated horror film, the protagonist is on their way home from work when the train they're on suddenly overturns, leading to a catastrophic accident. As they teeter on the edge of death, they are relentlessly pursued and ultimately killed by the train's driver, who has transformed into a god of death. Despite the characters are cute, they feel weird and tense during the escape.

Program Note

In the drowsy late afternoon on a train, a man dozing off due to fatigue, accidentally drops his briefcase, revealing a train ticket. Strangely, his wristwatch has stopped. A creepy inspector with an eerie presence appears and proceeds to check the passengers’ tickets, leading to an unexpected turn of events. The meaning behind the train he was on, and the “one-way ticket” finally becomes clear, creating another twist. (Kani KIM)

Diretor

LI Jia-Rong

LI Jia-Rong from Taiwan, graduated from Daye University and currently works as a 3D animator at a studio. Based on her internship experience at the studio during her college years, she was able to build a solid foundation for her directorial debut film One-Way Ticket (2022). She expresses infinite gratitude to the team members who played an irreplaceable role in the high degree of completion of the film.
