Kids vs. Aliens

Synopsis

All Gary wants is to make awesome home movies with his best buds. All his older sister Samantha wants is to hang with the cool kids. When their parents head out of town one Halloween weekend, an all-time rager of a teen house party turns to terror when aliens attack, forcing the siblings to band together to survive the night.

Program Note

Siblings Gary and Samantha are typical teenagers making silly wrestling videos and having a house party when their parents are away during Halloween. Suddenly, aliens invade and attack the neighborhood, so they, along with Gary’s best friends, who are also co-stars of wrestling videos, must stand together to combat these unexpected invaders. Bloody battles are fought, but will this group of underdogs come out on top at the end? Running at crisp 75 minutes, Kids vs. Aliens is a nostalgic throwback to the 80s “horror exploitation”, with an ample quantities of violence and gore. A perfect film for the fans to have a fun time without thinking too much! Director, Jason Eisener, combines aliens, gore, and wrestling in this effective low-budget sci-fi monster b-movie with vibrant colors and a thrashing soundtrack, but he also tackles the issues of friendship and family values.
