Program Note
The man and woman, seeking refuge from the civil war, find themselves in the secluded house of their distant grandfather. However, instead of feeling relieved to have reached a safe place, they blame each other and push themselves to the edge of the precipice. If they become completely isolated from society, they may gradually lose themselves in the sense of loss for what they left behind and the guilt for what they abandoned. This work aims to delve into the depths of the human psyche by utilizing a mysterious setting and an ambiguous flow of time. (Kristin JI)
