Battery Life

Hugo KEIJZER

Netherlands2019 6min World Premiere

Program Note

An attractive girl is on a phone party chat when the battery drops low. The girl gradually realizes a strange connection between her survival and phone’s battery level and goes on a desperate search for an outlet.  An absurd yet witty statement on techno-dependency of today’s youth, Battery Life was shot based on the director’s ‘visions, dreams and conversations’ during his visit to last year’s BIFAN.
