Program Note

A high school girl and a male office worker meet to trade some second-hand boxing gloves. When the man finds the young girl coming out to buy the gloves, he becomes cocky and tries to teach her a lesson. She doesn’t like his attitude, but she accepts his impromptu sparring request in order to sell the gloves. The sparring starts as a joke, but it becomes more intense. This film tells explores gender discrimination and prejudice in a comical way. (LEE Hwajung)

He studies directing at Korean National University of Arts for a MFA. He directed short films, Vertigo (2018), Ecstatic Taste (2019) and Rescue (2019).
