Program Note

It’s been nearly 500 days since an accident at a nuclear power plant. Apartment residents exposed to radiation compete with each other to get ice, an essential for survival. Living itself is a pain, but people strive ruthlessly to live a little longer. The situation has bitter similarities to the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic when we jostled for masks.
