Synopsis
Oili Lyyra is a forensic dentist who is researching the identity of a deceased man found near a Helsinki lake. Things become entangled when Oili's lover, detective Harakka, is assigned to the same case, and friends of Oili's little sister seem to be involved in the incident. We also learn of a driving instructor with a complete lack of respect for his female students. It seems the women have taken matters into their own hands. This movie, simmering with physical and mental violations of dignity, finally boils over in the final showdown.Auili Mantila has made a movie which is unmatched in its fierce ggressiveness. We feel the rage of the women and understand what it feels like to have every shred of dignity ripped away from us. Mantila's message is simple- its high-time we started showing each other some respect.
