Synopsis

In an act of desperation, Juliette run away from her lover in hopes of beginning anew. Unfortunately, she is struck by a car and appears lifeless. An ambulance arrives to rush her to the hospital. This is where Juliette meets Gaspard, the ambulance driver. And this is where the story takes a decidedly unusual turn. Desperately tying to use Gaspard as a means to end her nightmare, she instead draws him into her relationship with Guido. It is a perverse relationship, yet through it all Juliette struggles to discover what love really is. Dream and reality are not clearly delineated in < Why Get Married the Day the World Ends >? It is a strangely attractive love story in which director Harry Cleven delves into the motivations emotions of the characters with stunning results.
