Mandrill, Chile’s top assassin, goes into the hit-man business hoping to get revenge on the one-eyed man who killed his parents. The ESPINOZA-ZAROR collaboration Mirageman screened in PiFan 2008 and they now brings us a glamourous film of speedier and greater action.
He was born in Santiago, Chile and grab the camera when he was only 10. His first feature film Kiltro(2006) is the first martial art movie in South America. He was voted the Best Director and Screenwriter of 2006 for the film. Mandrill(2009), his second feature film, was selected for Fantastic Film Festival(Montreal) and Fantastic Fest(Austin, TX).
