Synopsis
Five years ago, an eighteen year old girl died at sea. Her family grieved for many years over her senseless death. Hoping to console her young soul and grant her happiness in the afterlife, they decided to enter her into a spirit marriage. In Korea, the marriage of spirits is a ritual based on the belief that if someone dies unmarried, their spirit will never find peace and that life continues after death. The young girl's wedding ceremony was conducted according to the order of the 'ogu-gut', which is a ritual performed in regions along the east coast for the sake of guiding dead spirits into heaven….
