A boy tries to revive a dying grasshopper while a man tries to teach the boy how to use a sickle. After enduring the harsh threats of his training, the boy is sad to see the grasshopper die. The boy uses his newly gained skill to bury the grasshopper, while the man stands and watches.
He graduated from Chungang University, Department of Film. He is now studying Filming in KAFA. He has steadily made shorts such as Killing Time(2002) and Key Number(2006). Usage of a Sickle is a Chungang University graduation film.
