Synopsis

A rich but jealous man hires a private investigator to kill his cheating wife and her new man. But, when blood is involved, nothing is simple.

Program Note

The Coen brothers’ debut film and perhaps their rst masterpiece, Blood Simple is an all time great, always on the must-see list for the video generation of the 1980s. It has now been restored in 4K and will now be shown on the big screen and not just on video; something else to make the viewer’s heart beat faster. (Ellen Y. D. KIM)
