Program Note

The Korean film industry has had a genre complex for a long time. At that time, Choi Donghoon demonstrated the importance of the less genre-driven films. He pushed to the limits the blending of character conflict. Every line of dialogue is well made. The passionate veteran actors’ performance is intense, and the directing is explosive and sophisticated. Tazza: The High Rollers is a new and exciting movie to watch again and again. In this film, Kim Hyesoo manipulates men, who are trying not to lose. Her portrayal emits great attraction. (LEE Yongcheol)
