Synopsis

Blanca, a young woman who has lost her memory, is helped by Xuan, a snake catcher, and together they set off on a search to find her identity.

Program Note

The Legend of the White Snake set in the Tang Dynasty, has been made into films several times before. While some monsters want to be with humans, others are hostile. In addition to the fight between man and the monster, this film impressively portrays the conflicts and wars that human desire has created.
