Synopsis

In ancient times, music was seen as essential to peace. However, the new Mongolian King bans music and kills those who disobey. Thus begins a tumultuous period, which sees the new King needing the help of the musicians he previously persecuted.

Program Note

Once upon a time, there was an ancient kingdom that loved music. However, as invader Igler is crowned as the new king, he destroys the musical instruments and kills the musicians. Diabolical Igler tries to keep princess Egheerel by his side. The Legend of Gobi is a historical drama which depicts well Mongolia’s grand nature and its heroine. (KIM Bong-seok)
