Synopsis

The adventures of Anselmo, who lives out his childhood dream by becoming Copperman-a superhero dressed in funny copper armor and rollerblades. Tackling injustices at night, he helps clean up his village. Forrest Gump meets Amelie in a touching fairy tale for everyone.

Program Note

A girl is the only comfort for a boy who is bullied due to his dysfunctional family and disability. Separated by her violent father as children, they meet again as adults. To achieve his childhood dream, he becomes ‘Copperman’ who wears a suit made of scrap. The director suggests this hero is a meeting of Forrest Gump (1994), Amelie (2001) and ‘hero’. (MO Eun-young)
