Synopsis

Set in the near future when Androids are replacing human jobs. Anda has a lot of emotional stress from her work, and decides to go to a restaurant during her break time. There, she meets an Android.

Program Note

Android is an emotional labor robot in this film. People criticize the quality of the food and despise when the robot smiles. Customers go too far and abuse their power. Human and robot are distinguished by their feelings. At the same time, feelings make humans inhuman, what an ironic situation. The title Are You an Android? ends in a question mark. It is sad and bitter because they use that question to avoid humans. (HUH Nam-woong).
