Synopsis

Spacecraft P-1, which was exploring the newly-discovered Planet X, meets aliens from the planet, known as Xiliens, from an advanced civilization – the Xiliens have been attacked by the fearsome monster, ‘Monster Zero’. The identity of Monster Zero is none other than the three-headed space dragon, King Ghidorah. In order to fight against King Ghidorah, the Xiliens ask Earth’s help by letting them borrow ‘Monster One=Godzilla’ and ‘Monster Two=Rodan’.

HONDA Ishiro

Honda Ishiro, often credited as being the father of Godzilla. Toho's most renowned director of science fiction, is most famous for his numerous entries in the Godzilla series, became Legend from Godzilla(1954) to Terror of Mechagodzilla(1975). Honda also was a lifelong friend of director Kurosawa Akira and Honda worked on several of Kurosawa's landmark films including Nora inu(1949), Kagemusha(1980) and Ran(1985). He was embarrassed the warning of nuclear energy with Godzilla that would collect fandom after huge success at box office. Honda passed away aged 83 on February 28th, 1993, with Kurosawa Akira delivering the eulogy at his funeral.
