Synopsis

What is the meaning of human existence? Qohen Leth – a genius hacker from a future London – lives a repetitious cycle of daily life, trying to complete the program ‘Zero Theorum’, which he hopes will help to find meaning in life. Indeed, he does find the meaning of life, but not through the program – he finds it through friendship, conflict and love with people around him.

He became famous as a director of the Monty Python sequels, and held a special place in people’s heart with Jabberwocky (1977) and Time Bandits (1981). In 1985 he joined Hollywood and made Brazil (1985), which became immediately a masterpiece winning the Best Director Award in LAFCA. With humor and imagination, he has actively made unique films such as The Fisher King (1991) and 12 Monkeys (1995) representing the world as a distopia.
