Aksim

Synopsis

Aksim is a monkey that finds blending in with other monkeys tricky, until one day, the spirit of Chun Ja – a human girl – enters his mind and creates a divide which puts Aksim on a path of no return.

Diretor

LEE Sung Gang

He started his career as an animator since 1995. He directed Ashes in the Thicket(1999), O-nu-ri(2004) and A Monster in the Reservoir(2012) as well as My Beautiful Girl, Man(2001), Yobi, The Five Tailed Fox(2007), his feature animations. His live-action feature Texture of Skin(2005) was screened in the competition at the 2005 Vancouver International Film Festival. He is currently in the pre-production of Snow Queen: The Legend of Lake Baikal.
