South Korean animation director and producer. After earning a degree in Communication Design in Seoul, she relocated to France to study animation at the ENSAD in Paris at the graduate level. Her debut film, Man on the Chair (2014), was featured in the Directors’ Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival and won the Cristal for Best Short Film at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and teaches in the Department of Visual Communication Design at Hongik University.
