Synopsis

Michel, a retired math teacher, has been living alone since the death of his wife. He fills his days with writing an essay about the everyday life. One day, he finds Dora, a young and injured homeless woman, on his doorstep and takes her in while she"s recovering. Her presence brings a little freshness back into his life.
 

Diretor

Jean-Claude BRISSEAU

Born in 1944, he made his first film in 1975 which was noticed by director Eric Rohmer at an amateur film festival. Since then, he has been a scenario writer for French TV and INA produced his first feature. His major works include White Wedding(1989) and Secret Things(2002) which won a French Culture Award for Cineaste of the Year.
