Charlie is preparing a homecoming for her girlfriend, when the front door jams and traps her inside her apartment. She begins to notice strange occurrences including strange noises in the apartment and oddities on video chats with her overbearing mom. Is her imagination playing tricks, or is something sinister really taking place? Co-written/directed by Emily Bennett, who also plays Charlie, Alone with You is an indie psycho-thriller made during the height of the pandemic. Sense of isolation and fear that Charlie goes through is exactly how we felt with Covid-19. As the film intensifies and Charlie unravels, there truly lies the feeling of terror in all of us.
