Born in 1975, Richard Kelly studied filmmaking at the University of Southern California. Thanks to Drew Barrymore, Kelly made his directorial debut with Donnie Darko, and became one of the most promising young directors in the US. Kelly directed numerous genres including comedy, drama, and animation.
