Program Note

The protagonist tries to get some money to pay a sick mother's medical bills by holding the fake funeral of the mother's. But the things don't go as planned. Mother's friends from the church and a trouble-making uncle make the scene at the funeral. To make things worse, the sick mother wakes up...

Director

LEE Namkang

Born in 1989 in Seoul, Korea. Liked to observe people and tried to study psychology. However, he’s soon attracted by cinema and entered Kyung Hee University to study filmmaking. After his first film, Teacher (2010), he is committed to writing feature film scripts. Fake funeral is his graduation film.
