Program Note
A pregnant teenager must survive a Halloween night from hell when malevolent trick-or-treaters come knocking at her door. She gives them candy but the Hellions are determined to claim her unborn child. Alone and under siege, she must protect herself and her baby from their predatory quest.

Bruce McDONALD
Bruce McDonald was born in 1959, Canada. He studied film at Ryerson University in Toronto. He is one of Canada’s pre-eminent cult filmmakers. He is first acclaimed with Roadkill (1989). It won Best Canadian Feature Film at Toronto International Film Festival. His film Pontypool, presented at Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in 2009.
