Synopsis
Beyond the river Phlegethon, the seventh circle of hell unfolds. Here, the ruthless, the desperate, the wasteful, and the blasphemous are trapped in endless torment. This is a journey into the very depths of their punishment. VII Violenza is an adaptation of the Circle of Violence from Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy. The images in this film have been generated using generative AI, exploring the possibilities this technology offers to reimagine the literary universes of great works. Although the original soundtrack was composed by Lavenzza, the film also experiments with AI-generated music for two of its songs, as well as with the creation of sound samplers used in the film's sound design.
