Synopsis
Remembering reflects on the nature of memory and its many strange facets. The idea for the film came before the decision to use generative AI tools. I am fascinated by the malleability and impermanence of memories, and when I first started experimenting with Stable Diffusion I noticed it behaved very similarly to how we dream or fill the gaps in our memory, so I decided it was the perfect tool for this subject. The film was made using 3D animation, live action and other techniques as a base which was then put through Stable Diffusion to achieve its final look.
