Synopsis

Kim Sang-nam used to be the star pitcher of the Korean pro baseball league.  He is submitted to the disciplinary committee for drinking assault charges and his agent talks him into coaching a team of hearing-impaired players at Chungju Sungsim School.  Their goal is to compete in the national league.  Sang-nam couldn’t be more pessimistic about it, but is touched by how happy the kids are while playing baseball and once again he sets the world on fire.

KANG Woo-suk

Born in 1960. Debuting with Sweet Brides in 1988, he directed Happiness Does Not Come In Grades (1989), Who Saw The Dragon's Toenail? (1991), Two Cops series, and Public Enemy series. Especially, Silmido gathered more than 10 million audiences in Korea for the first time. He steadily has worked as a producer and a director, and he won Best Director at the Blue Dragon Awards for Moss. His latest film is The Map Against the World (2016).
