Synopsis

Choi Gon, who won the title of King of Singers in 1988 with his hit song "Rain and You," has since been involved in a series of scandals, including marijuana and assault cases. Now, he finds himself strumming his guitar for adulterous couples in the cafes of Misari, yet he firmly believes he is still a star. One quiet day, Choi Gon gets into a scuffle with a cafe patron and ends up in a detention cell.

Diretor

LEE Joon-ik

Born in 1959. His debut feature film is Kid-Cops (1993). He directed King and the Clown in 2005 and it gathered more than 10 million audiences in Korea. As a master of historical films, he directed The Throne (2015), Dongju; The Portrait of A Poe (2015) and Anarchist from Colony. His latest film The Book of Fish (2019) won the Grand Prize at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards.
