Program Note

In a remote rural farmhouse, an old man lives in isolation, hiding and caring for his wife who has become a zombie. One day, a man arrives seeking help for his sick son. Though the old man is reluctant, he eventually takes them in. That night, the man discovers the old man's zombie wife and tries to escape, only to realize too late that he has fallen into the old man's trap. How far is justice for protecting one's family permitted to go? The bond of family, love, or perhaps obsession, is a formidable force that even rationality cannot overcome when one is sane.
