Shun-he, a former police officer now working as a taxi driver, orders food for two. At that moment, a man in black gets into his taxi, and the murder on the radio changes to a kidnapping case involving a young girl. The man, harboring many secrets, becomes increasingly entangled in the unfolding events throughout the night. As the past incident that led to Shun-he leaving the police force comes to light, the layers of his complex emotions are conveyed with a cold and heavy intensity.
