Program Note

In the distant future, humans have adapted to survive in protected zones called clusters, transforming into various forms. Kisaragi, turned into a cyborg through the human experiments of the vampire group ‘The Immortal Knights,’ is now a fugitive. As ‘The Immortal Knights’ aim to dominate all of Tokyo, yakuza gangs also start hunting Kisaragi to avenge the murder of their boss. While evading capture, Kisaragi ends up protecting his old friend's younger sister, leading his hellish escape into a massive battle.
Set in a futuristic city that epitomizes SF genre, this animation is characterized by non-stop, spectacular action sequences. The distinct characters, including cyborgs, vampires, and yakuza, each with their unique action styles, significantly enhance the story's appeal. The collaboration of the production team and voice actors, known for their popular and successful works, further elevates the quality of the film, making it a must-watch for animation fans.
