Sperm have to overcome the odds of 1 in 300 million to reach the egg and fertilize it. Sperm must be prepared for any situation through daily survival learning and training. Simon, the very happy sperm living in the testicles of the boy Jens, sets out on a journey that risks his life when Jens attempts to have sex with Lisa for the first time on a camping trip. Will Simon, along with the other sperm risking everything for fertilization, be able to reach the egg and fertilize it, avoiding the attacks of spermicides on the long and difficult journey to the womb? Spermageddon, a collaboration between Dead Snow (2009)'s Tommy Wirkola and animation director Rasmus A. Sivertsen, stands out for its ingenious imagination, portraying the harsh competitive world of sperm through an action-adventure drama. The comical action adventure of the sperm, the coming-of-age romance between Jens and Lisa, and the musical sequences with dancing and singing provide great fun not to be missed.
